As early as the 16th century, the BEAUFORT family was already cultivating vines in Champagne. From 1900 onwards, Marcellin BEAUFORT sold his red and white “vins natures de Bouzy”, earning medals at the Épernay and Paris wine competitions in 1904 and 1907. In 1929, together with his son Herbert, Marcellin began producing Champagne.

Today, Henry, Hugues, and Ludovic BEAUFORT run the estate, proudly carrying on the legacy of their ancestors.
